The update of the Others device driver which is not working properly After the installation of the Silicon CP210x USB to UART Bridge VCP Driver 6.3a driver, the device should work properly. Just download the Silicon CP210x USB to UART Bridge VCP Driver 6.3a driver and start the installation (keeping in mind that the Others device must be at the same time connected to the computer). This solution may seem more complicated - but it is nothing further from the truth. To make sure, disconnect now and reconnect the Others device again, and maybe this time the driver will be downloaded. It is worth noting that in order for the automatic update to work, the computer must be connected to the Internet (perhaps when connecting the Others device the computer temporarily did not have the Internet connection or a WiFi signal was weak making it impossible to download the Silicon CP210x USB to UART Bridge VCP Driver 6.3a driver). If the "UPDATE" feature was disabled, the Silicon CP210x USB to UART Bridge VCP Driver 6.3a driver could not be installed.

Watch out for ads on the sites that may advertise products frequently classified as a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Products). The pages appear to be providing accurate, safe information. Standard Disclaimer: There are links to non-Microsoft websites. If you'll wait to rate whether my post resolved your problem, I will keep working with you until it's resolved. Feel free to ask back any questions and keep me posted. If the problem repeats then check which Windows Updates were installed at Settings > Update & Security > Windows Updates > Update History, uninstall them there or System Restore again, then immediately check for and block the Updates with the Hide Updates tool explained here. Was there something like an Update or other install that caused this? If so see if you can System Restore to a point before the problem began following this guide. And if that doesn't help then try Uninstall Driver, restart PC to reinstall it. If that doesn't help then try Roll Back driver, if available. If that doesn't work then try Update Driver > Browse > Let Me Pick to try all previously installed drivers for one that is stable - these even survive Version Updates.

To be sure trace the Hardware ID as shown here: What is the version and date of the driver? What tells you for sure this is the USB controller driver? Is it included in your motherboard drivers? Update your BIOS, chipset and all other drivers. I'm Greg, an Independent Advisor here to help until this is resolved.
